August 10 Training

What is one thing that you learned during the August 10 training that you would like to implement with the students in September.

  4. I learned how to use the smartboard with jing in a more meaningful way within my classroom.

  5. I learned how to project what is on my laptop onto the Smart Board. This will be helpful because there are activites that will allow students to come up to the Smart Board to interact .

  7. I learned about the recording feature on the Smartboard. I also used jing and the xtranormal site to create and add an intro video to one of my Smartboard lessons.

  8. I learned that the magic pen is also a spotlighter tool. I would like the students to make use of this tool when discussing class ECRs, etc.

  9. I really liked the recorder tool. I also found some great ready-made activities on SMART exchange. Vive le Smartboard!

  10. I learned how to create, order, and group shapes with questions on the front and answers hidden behind them. The shape and question can be moved by the students to reveal the answer and to check their work.

  11. I learned how to become more familiar with using the smartboard. Can't wait to use some of the smartboard notebooks that are already created!

  12. I learned to use the record feature of the smartboard. I also learned to use the spotlight feature and if you circle everything you want to erase with the eraser and tap in the center it will erase it.
